Help The US Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger In Your Community

Help The US Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger In Your Community

On Saturday May 11th, you can help the U.S. Postal Service help fight hunger in your community by participating in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

All you have to do is donate non-perishable items in a bag and place them by your mailbox tomorrow before your letter carrier delivers your mail.

You can donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, bottled juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal and rice that do not require refrigeration. The postal service asks that you do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.

The food will then be donated to local food banks.

For more information  you can go to http://www.helpstampouthunger.com/.
